Facts about Nervousness:

The term nervousness can be described as the feeling of restlessness or apprehension and worry, which any human being can go through when he or she has to face a stressful situation. It has been seen that nervousness is the state of mind, which eventually also affects the physical state of the body and causes certain reactions like muscle tensions, palpitations, dry mouth, sweating, lack of concentration, sleeplessness and gasping, which are actually strong anticipations of something disastrous ahead. This is a psychological state of mind and contrary to fear there is no form of external threat present. But it should be remembered that nervousness does not always have a negative effect on a person and there are times when this nervousness ensures completion of tasks more efficiently. There are various kinds of causes of nervousness and these include both physical and emotional or psychological factors that can affect the brain. It has been seen that withdrawal from alcohol or drugs and even the excessive use of caffeine and other stimulants can lead to nervousness. Apart from this various hormonal disorders and psychiatric conditions including panic attacks, anxiety disorder and manic episodes can cause nervousness. The pressures of finance and job, worries about relationships, parental issues and insecurity are causes of nervousness. Also medical conditions lead to nervousness like seizures, strokes, and thyroid or hormone imbalances.

  • Then you can also mix 2 tablespoons honey and 1 teaspoon nutmeg in a cup of orange juice and drink it.
  • Application of rosemary oil or any other form of aroma therapy is beneficial for the nervousness.
  • Drink chamomile, horsetail, catnip, hops, spearmint tea, peppermint and peach leaf.
  • Keep primrose oil on the tongue.
  • Apply rosemary oil on forehead.
  • Make a paste with overnight soaked 8-10 almonds with 1 teaspoon nutmeg and pinch of ginger and have during bed time.
